Shapes & Color

I’ve always loved bright colors and playful shapes when they seem to move and sing together. Ever since high school, I’ve loved making these pieces that feel simple, free, and almost childlike in nature while also having a sophisticated touch.

Inspired by playful artists such as Wassily Kandinsky, Russian painter and pioneer of the abstraction movement in Western art and contemporary artist and author, Kindah Khalidy, I have found that this kind of work is a soothing escape to the type of art I am normally drawn to. I have painted everything from canvasas to guitar cases to skateboards in this lively style.
